Under the stars in the Botanic Garden, Kings Park!
SEX! SCANDAL! SOCKS!
This summer Kings Park and Botanic Garden, Western Australia's most magical destination, will be home to Shakespeare's wittiest play.
After the love and tragedy of ROMEO AND JULIET and the wicked comedy and sexy magic of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM, it’s time for some scandal, hilarity and classic Shakespearean innuendo. Set in a 1930’s country club, Zoë Atkinson’s sock designs are worth the price of entry alone.
Considered to be one of Shakespeare’s cleverest comedies, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING explores the nature of social status, betrayal and love.
Young lovers Hero and Claudio are to be married. As a joke they conspire with Don Pedro, the Prince, to bring together the proud and intelligent Benedick and Beatrice. Don Juan, Don Pedro’s evil brother, is meanwhile conspiring to break up Hero and Claudio’s wedding. Will he succeed or will the whole thing turn out to be “much ado about nothing”?
Performed by an ensemble of some of Perth's most extraordinary actors, MUCH ADO ABOUT NOTHING is the perfect play to enjoy with friends, family, clients or staff this summer. Scatter rugs, kick off your shoes and share in the magic that is BankWest Shakespeare in the Park.
Book before 25 December for SPECIAL CHRISTMAS OFFERS! The perfect gift for someone that has everything!
