Under Milk Wood

UNDER MILK WOOD - a stream of consciousness journey across the landscape of the mind - a place where thoughts run into dreams and time forgets its own name.

This voyeuristic slice of life in a typical Welsh seaside town by poet Dylan Thomas began its life as a radio play in the 1940's.

Presented in association with Entropy Productions, by acclaimed director Ben Laden (THE RED ROOM Artrage 1999, THE GARDEN PIAF 2001), deckchair theatre's 2003 production will take you deep into the world of this sleepy seaside town and its inhabitants, transforming Victoria Hall with a fly-on-the-wall mixture of promenade performance and installation.
