Prayer To An Iron God

TB is about to lose the plot.

Her family is still reeling from the shock of her brother's death almost a year ago.

Her boyfriend Sniff is selling drugs and reckons everyone - including his best friend Skunk - is sleeping with her.

She's trapped - trapped in a relationship she wants out of, trapped in this stinkin' town and trapped in a downward spiral of guilt and shame…

Into this mess stumbles Ben - a boy on the road, but going nowhere.

This hard-hitting and often hilarious play by Caroline Reid mines the richness of the Australian vernacular in its exploration of life for young people, especially young women in a small WA country town.
