In 2009 deckchair theatre invites audiences on a truly exciting journey of drama, comedy and music at its home Victoria Hall, Fremantle.
Season One: 2009 is a collection of three captivating tales – from the lonely hearts who hope that love will lift them out of their troubles, to the struggles of two desperate gunmen on opposite sides of the world, to the story of two young boys from Mt Barker whose dreams of a better life revolve around their remarkable ability with a football. There is something for everyone in this season of extraordinary new stories.

Support deckchair
deckchair launches new giving program
On the 28th of August, deckchair launched its new Individual Giving Program.
The program was launched by Dr Carmen Lawrence who spoke of the importance of supporting local theatre.
Beautiful performances by two of Western Australia’s finest musicians, Peter Grayling and Cathie Travers made the evening a night to remember, and Artistic Director Chris Bendall followed with a passionate speech about the future of the company, part of which you can read on the program link to the right.
Every bit of support counts so that we can fulfil our vision for the company and for the theatre community here in Fremantle. Each donation, small or large is of enormous benefit to us, and donations over $2 are tax deductible.
