Information for Schools

Deckchair Theatre’s Education Program will see workshops in acting and forums throughout the years. An “Education Esky”, our complimentary education resource pack, will be made available for school group bookings.

School Group Rates

All school groups receive a special discounted ticket rate for al productions throughout 2010. School groups of 10 or more are priced at only $20 with one supervisor free.

Acting Workshops

Workshops with the artists are also available for school groups post-performance upon request. The first in this series is on Wednesday 3 March following the matinee performance for GRACE. Call us for more details on how to book for this event.

Artist Talks

Artist talks are a regular part of each program, and are available upon request following Wednesday matinee performances. These are a unique opportunity to meet and discuss the production with the cast and creative team.

Stay tuned to our website for additional special one-off artist talks throughout the year. Our first for the year is on Sunday 14th February @ 2pm, when we are very pleased to welcome authors Robert Drewe and Humphrey Bower in conversation with Chris Bendall. Tickets are free, but places are limited so call the office to book.
